Welcome to the home page of the Continental Basketball League, an independent minor basketball league currently operating in the Southeastern United States that will kick off its inaugural season in May 2010.

Through a more controlled geographic footprint than concentrates on "clusters" of local teams, stringent league protocols that ensure the financial viability of each CBL team, an economy of scales achieved through pooling of league and team resources, and the implementation of various technology solutions, the CBL plans to bring a renewed success to the business of minor league basketball.

Sea Dawgs Win Big

The Sea Dawgs tamed the Carolina Cougarz tonight by a score of 126 - 94. The Sea Dawgs maintained a nice size lead for most of the game, leading by ten at the end of the first quarter, and doubling that lead to 20 points by the start of the fourth quarter. The Sea Dawgs were happy to welcome back Jermaine Williams to tonight's line up who made positive contributions on both sides of the court.

Sea Dawgs have back to back losses

After losing last night to the Savannah Wildcats, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs were not able to redeem themselves after falling to the Carolina Cougarz today for their fifth loss of the season by a score of 108-97. The Sea Dawgs did not have two of their starters for this game, Kadiri Richards or Donielle Davis

The team was not able to cliche a playoff spot this weekend, but we now have two home games next week.

There next game is June 17th against the Carolina Cougarz.
